INTERVIEW WITH PRISONERS FROM POLLSMOOR

The District Commissioner informed the committee that the Pollsmoor prisoners were unable to attend the committee meeting as they were unable to make the time slot allocated to them to visit Parliament. However another date would be organised. The prisoners are to speak on the rehabilitation programme and parole as the members had been informed that most of those who would have attended today's meeting were due for parole shortly.

The Chairperson, Mr Moosa, closed the meeting by informing the members that there would be another opportunity to meet with the Pollsmoor prisoners.
