Report of the Select Committee on Education and Recreation on the UNESCO, Hague and Unidroit Conventions , dated 26 February 2014.

The Select Committee on Education and Recreation, having considered The 2001 Unesco Convention on the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage ; The 1999 Second Protocol to the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the event of Armed Conflict ; and The 1995 Unidroit Convention on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects, tabled in terms of section 231(2) of the Constitution, 1996 , referred to it, recommends that the Council approves the said Conventions.
