Committee Final Report on Medium Term
Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS)
Mr Mkhaliphi requested that Members browse through the Final Draft Report
for a few minutes before engaging in deliberations on it.
Following that, Members went through the Report and effected certain grammatical
alterations.
Members were impressed by the amendments and contributions made to the Report.
However, a special request was made that the Co-Chairpersons not sign off on
the Final Draft before the Committee’s alterations have been cross examined.
Consequently the Final Draft was not adopted, pending the incorporation of the
Members’ proposed alterations.
The meeting was adjourned.
