SUMMARY
The Committee adopted its programme for the first
session and adopted the minutes of its 14 February meeting with Agrement. The Committee decided to postpone the adoption of
the draft Committee Reports on its Limpopo and North West oversight visits, on
the Department 2005/06 Annual Report, on the visit to the parliament
residential parks as well as its own Committee Annual Report until members had
studied these.
MINUTES
The minutes from the 14 February Committee meeting with Agrement
were adopted with amendments. The First Term Committee
Programme was also adopted with amendments.
The Chairperson proposed that the Committee should take the Draft Committee
Reports away with them and carefully look at the content and probe if there
were any missing details in them. In the next meeting they could raise their
concerns and this would prevent wasting time by laboriously going page by page
through all these reports. The Committee agreed.
