The committee elected Mr M Moosa (ANC, Gauteng) as Chairperson. The Chairperson stated that a Bill on Powers and Privileges has been prepared and forwarded by the Joint Rules Committee's Subcommittee on Powers and Privileges. He asked members to familiarise themselves with its contents.
