ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON

SUMMARY
The Committee unanimously elected Mr JL Mahlangu as its Chairperson.
Mr Mahlangu took his sit and urged members to look at the General Intelligence Law Amendment Bill which has been referred to the Committee. He said they would hopefully be dealing with the Bill after the adjournment of the current session of Parliament from 17 to 19 October 2000. The meeting was adjourned.
