ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON

SUMMARY
Mr PA Matthee (NNP) was elected chairperson of this committee. The DP nominated Mr Lever (DP), but was unsuccessful because Mr Matthee had the support of the majority party. Mr PA Matthee had previously held the position of chairperson on the committee for Private Members' Legislative Proposals and Petitions.
