Final selection of candidates

This meeting was not minuted. Three political parties were present at the meeting. The parties came with their choices from the final shortlist of candidates. The IFP and ANC's choices were Ms McClean and Ms Majodina. The DP's choice was Ms Majodina and Ms Papenfus. The final selection is as follows:

The Committee on Filling of Vacancies on Human Rights Commission, having considered and examined nominations of persons to fill vacancies on the Human Rights Commission, nominates, in terms of section 193(5)(a) of the Constitution, the following persons for appointment to the Human Rights Commission:

Ms Z Majodina (part-time member)
