The Portfolio Committee on Provincial and Local Government, having considered the subject of the Cross-Boundary Municipalities Laws Repeal and Related Matters Amendment Bill [B 3 – 2009] (National Assembly – sec 75)), referred to it and classified by the Joint Tagging Mechanism as a section 75 Bill, reports the Bill with amendments [B 3A-2009].

The Committee wishes to report further, as follows:

Having conferred jointly with the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development on the Constitution Sixteenth Amendment Bill [B 1-2009] and the Cross-boundary Municipalities Laws Repeal and Related Matters Amendment Bill [B 3-2009], the Committee has noted the report of the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development on the Constitution Sixteenth Amendment Bill [B 1-2009] and concurs with its content.
