1.             Establishment of Ad Hoc Joint Committee

 

DECISION BY THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF PROVINCES TO ESTABLISH AN AD HOC JOINT COMMITTEE TO CONSIDER THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE NATIONAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD

 

1.      The Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces, in concurrence with a resolution passed by the National Assembly on 5 February 2009, establishes an ad hoc joint committee in terms of Joint Rule 138(1)(b) to consider, in terms of the National Youth Development Agency Act (Act No. 54 of 2008), the appointment of members to the National Youth Development Agency Board.

 

2.      The Committee to exercise those powers in Joint Rule 32 that may assist it in carrying out its task.

 

3.      The Committee to consist of 9 Members of the National Council of Provinces as follows:
