Delegates of the Nation Council of Provinces,

We would like to add our voice at this last chance to halt the Civil Union Bill being accepted into the laws of this country.

To pass such a bill is against the wishes of the majority of people in South Africa, people of all religions and backgrounds.

The majority of people in this country recognise the slippery slope we are on when we ignore both the laws of God and of nature, and seek to legitimise that which is wrong.

Marriage, sexual union, was ordained by God, firstly for the natural procreation of children. The family, one man, one woman, raising their children in a stable environment, with two role models , male and female, is the way God knew was best for the survival of humanity.

We move away from this, at our peril.

I ask you delegates of the National Council of Provinces, to vote on this issue with honesty, with your hearts, forget for this day, political correctness and toeing the party line, and let Almighty God, guide your vote,

This letter speaks for the 370 members of the congregations of the Anglican Parish of Sabie, Mpumlanga.

Yours truly

Rev'd J. Uren-Viner
