DRAFT AMENDMENTS AGREED TO THE FURTHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING COLLEGES BILL [B 23C-2006]

CLAUSE 1

1. On page 5, in line 46, after "college" to omit "or departmental office"

CLAUSE 6

1. On page 9, from line 34 to 37, to omit subclause (13).

CLAUSE 8

1. (2) Line 30 delete "two" and substitute with "three"

CLAUSE 14

1.On page 12, in line 42, after "students" to omit "and lectures

CLAUSE 17

1. On page 13, in line 31, to omit "Head of Department" and to substitute "Member of Executive Council".

CLAUSE 40

1. Delete 40 (2)

CLAUSE 54

1. On page 23, in line 11, delete the words "read with section 197 of the Labour Relations Act':

2. Insert the following subsection 2

"(2) Section 197 of the Labour Relations Act, applies to the appointment as contemplated in subclause (1 )."

3. Subsection 2 on the Bill will now become subsection 3.
