Report on the Final Mandate on the Forestry Laws Amendment Bill: (B24-2005]

1. TERMS OF REFERENCE

The above mentioned Bill was referred to the Portfolio Committee for consideration as a matter of priority. The briefing took place on the 20'h October 2005, and the negotiating mandate of the Committee was forwarded to the NCOP office on the 25 October 2005.

2. RESOLUTIONS

The Portfolio Committee having considered the inputs on the minutes of the Select Committee resolved that the permanent delegate should discuss the Bill in line with other provinces and support the essence and the principle of the Bill.
