The Portfolio Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs met to consider the final mandate in respect of the said Bill. The officials of the Department on Finance and Economic Affairs as well as the legal adviser of the Legislature briefed the committee on the bill.

The issue around the use of forests for traditional practices should be regulated by this bill as well. Due consideration was given to all inputs

The House now mandates the Permanent Delegates to the National Council of Provinces to participate in the deliberations and vote for the Bill
