FINAL MANDATE: REPEAL OF BLACK ADMINISTRATION ACT AND AMENDMENT OF CERTAIN LAWS BILL [B25B-2005]
Hon. Deputy Speaker I rise to request this House to consider tile final mandate in respect of the Black Administration Act and Amendment of Certain Laws Bill [B258-2005]
The Committee was briefed by the Hon. Fielding, permanent delegate to the NCOP.
The Committee gave due consideration to the briefing and inputs made by the members of the Committee.
As the Bill seeks to repeal apartheid legislation and seeks to redress counter productive and unconstitutional cultural practices, it is therefore that I request this house to mandate our permanent delegates to the NCOP participate in deliberations and vote for the Bill.
