CETA funds the training for group learnership schemes (labour intensive)

CETA'S EPWP COMMITMENT


The Department of Labour ( DoL) National skills Funding:

The DoL has approved funding for R27.5m. This amount can sustain 250 learners on the learnership programme.


Actual number of registered learners on this programme is 800


Funding has been secured for 1050 learnership agreements


The shortfall that still requires funding is 1950


THE WAY FORWARD

  1. CETA provides the actual registered learners with respect to the r50 million and the R37.5 million as indicated above
  2. A project proposal will be submitted to NSF fund to fund the remaining 2200
  3. The Actual registered learners will be sent to EPWP
