• 30 Youth farmers to be trained over 2 years
• NDM allocated R800 000 for the project

Goat Farming Project

• 50 Goat farmers trained
• Municipality provided land for farming
• Mining Seta trained goat farming
• NDM to fund infrastructure amounting to R1,6 million
• Farm to be used for animal farming, vegetable farming & Lucerne farming

KwaMhlanga Abattoir

• DPLG provided initial funding through LED fund-approximately R1,5million
• NDM co-funded with an amount of + R1 million
• AHI provided an operator who will train local people to take over after a three year period
• 20 Cattle per day abattoir
• Goats will also be slaughtered at the abattoir
• An investigation will be conducted to establish the feasibility of processing by –products.

Moloto Development Corridor (Railway line)

• Connecting Tswane, Thembisile & Dr JS Moroka Municipalities
• NDM initiative
• Province supports the Corridor Development awaiting National Minister approval
