DHA verification process Administration: Register personal details , Biometrics and take picture then issue card Induction :Inmates are informed on the house rules , their rights, Services available and how To access them etc Search and Store : Inmates are searched for valuables not allowed in the facility . These are put away for Safe –Keeping Room allocation: Inmates allocated rooms on a communal basis Exceptions made on religious grounds

Consists of two distinct separate and independent sections, Home Affairs and Lindela Accommodation Centre
DHA is legally and administratively responsible for all matters per to the apprehension, detention, processing, repatriationar releaseof illegal aliens at Lindela.

Home Affairs
- Detainees are repatriated and transported almost daily, to border posts, Johannesburg International Airport and Lanseria Airport.
