Monday, 22 August – Friday, 26 August 2005	Oversight visit to the Eastern Cape to visit job creation projects. This is a joint oversight visit with the SC on Labour and Public Enterprises.

Date: Thursday, 1 September 2005 Time: 14:00 – 16:00 Venue: Committee Room S35, First Floor, NCOP Wing, Parliament.	Update by Parliamentary representatives on the Pan African Parliament and SADC PF (Ms Hajaij).	To focus on interaction with the African continent.

Briefing by DTI on SMME Strategy and how it is ensuring that SMMEs are contributing to the economy. Briefing by Department of Trade and Industry on the National Credit A/B.	To eradicate poverty and underdevelopment.
