Oversight visit-visit to the Presidency to view Programmes that are in place for Disabled Persons, Children and Youth rights. The programme for the above will be as follows:

  1. Briefing by the National Youth Commission (NYC) on Youth Development Programmes, Participation of Youth in Interdepartmental Committee on Youth Affairs e.t.c
  2. Briefing by the Office of the Status of Disabled Persons (OSDP) on Disability Desks, Progress and Challenges since the last workshop-Staff and Budget issues among others (lack of capacity and reliance on donor support)
  3. Briefing on Budget allocated to Disability Units- for the Committee to make a determination on whether money allocated to them is enough of or not enough for these units to function optimally.
  4. Briefing by Office of the Rights of a Child (ORC) on Mainstreaming of the Children’s rights in the Provincial ORC offices
  5. Briefing on Communication Strategy by three sectors
