Instructions were given to all Regional and District Offices to arrange with community leaders to visit Service Points during weekends, however the response is very poor. With the assistance of the two local radio stations, viz Ligwalagwala and Ikwelwezi FM, we periodically request that people come and collect their Identity Documents.

It would be my recommendation that when we commence with the ID Campaign for Local Authorities, the issue of free photographs be allowed for first applicants only, since it is suspected that the reason why there are so many uncollected documents is due to the fact that people do posses Identity documents but that they could have applied again since there were free photographs
