The Portfolio Committee on Tourism, Environment & Conservation met and considered the draft minutes of the Select Committee on Land and Environmental Affairs held on 13 October 2004, on the Air Quality Bill [B62D-2003]

The following concern was raised by the Committee:

• No new amendments from provinces were incorporated in the Bill.

The Committee wishes to express support for the Bill and confer on the Permanent Delegates to the NCOP to Vote for the Bill.
