RE. FINANCIAL SERVICES OMBUD SCHEMES BILL 2004

  1. I am the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance, and as you probably know, I am a Voluntary Ombudsman.
  2. Proposed Amendment to Section 3

I propose that this Section be clarified as follows :

"In order to achieve clarity on the representation of financial institutions on the proposal council Paragraph 2(a) be worded as follows:

2(a) The members must include a representative from each of the financial institutions which and clients who are affected by the Act."
