Final Mandate on the National Gambling Bill (B48B-2003)
On 20th November 2003, the Committee considered the minutes of the inter-provincial meeting held on Tuesday, 18 November 2003. The Committee notes that the Department will only respond to the comments of the Eastern Cape Province and other Province, on the day final mandates would be considered.
The Committee resolved that due to the lack of feedback on the input made by provinces at the inner-provincial negotiations held on 18 November 2003, the Eastern Cape Province could not arrive at a final mandate on Bill [B48B-2003 (Reprint)].
