Report of the Select Committee on Finance on the Convention

between the Government of the Republic of South Africa and

the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria for theAvoidance

of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with

respect to Taxes on Income, dated 22 October 2003:

The Select Committee on Finance, having considered the request for

approval by Parliament of the Convention between the Government

of the Republic of South Africa and the Government of the

Republic of Bulgaria for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and

the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income,

referred to it, recommends that the Council, in terms of section 231(2)

of the Constitution, approve the said Convention.
