The Select Committee on Economic and Foreign Affairs, having considered the request for approval by Parliament of the Protocol Relating to the Establishment of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union, referred to it, and having conferred with the Select Committee on Security and Constitutional Affairs, recommends that the Council, in terms of section 231(2) of the Constitution, approve the said Protocol.
