PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 35B OF THE INSOLVENCT ACT, 24 OF 1936
With reference to the proposed amendments by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Affairs to section 35B of the Insolvency Act, 1936 contained in the draft Judicial Matters Amendment Bill, 41 of 2003, the National Treasury hereby agrees with the proposed amendments.
The Schedule of the draft Security Services Bill that has identical proposed amendments therein will be changed accordingly to remove all references to amending section 35B of the Insolvency Act, 1936.
