VISION:
To promote the accelerated restructuring of state owned enterprises to maximise shareholder value.
MISSION:
To ensure that the provision of services are reasonably priced and readily accessible and to ensure further that both economic development and black economic empowerment are boosted.
OBJECTIVES:
To monitor the coherent approach to the restructuring and transformation of state owned enterprises to ensure optimal economic and social impact;
To monitor the development and implementation of restructuring frameworks for individual state owned enterprises;
To monitor the alignment of the activities of state owned enterprises with government policy and the development of a systematic method of monitoring performance;
To monitor the development and promotion of alternative service delivery options as a basis for restructuring and transforming state owned enterprises.
