By direction of the Premier, we advise that we support this Bill, in particular Section 4(1)(e) thereof.
We also welcome the provisions contained in section 4(2) of the Bill, which would have the effect of implementing the recommendations of the Hoexter Commission, namely incorporating the Namaqualand and Calvinia Magisterial districts into the jurisdiction of the Northern Cape High Court.
