Adoption of minutes
The Committee considered and adopted with amendments, its minutes of meetings held on 15 August 2007, 6, 7, 13, 14 and 21 November 2007 and 15 and 23 January 2008.
Other Committee Business
The Acting Chairperson informed the Committee that the Housing Development Agency Bill had been referred to the Committee for consideration. The Management Committee had met and worked out a programme for the passage of the Bill. The Bill has to be finalized by the 27 June 2008, but if the Committee met on Wednesdays and Fridays the Bill should be finalized by 21 March 2008
The Committee considered the Bill’s programme and the Acting Chairperson informed the Committee that a list of all the issues that the Committee still had to follow up on would be compiled and considered at the next meeting..
