Division of Revenue Amendment Bill [B33-2012: no submissions from interested stakeholders

Meeting report
The Chairperson welcomed the Members and said that the main issue on the agenda was to primarily deal with the oral and written presentations from stakeholders who responded to the invite of the Committee with regards to the Division of Revenue Amendment Bill. This was a second meeting following the joint meeting which was held with the Standing Committee on Appropriations where presentations were heard from the Fiscal Commission and the Public Service Commission. Unfortunately the Committee had not received any new written or oral submissions except the three submissions which were already heard during the joint meeting. There were no further submissions.
Adoption of Minutes
The minutes of the meeting of 16 October 2012 were considered. This was the meeting relating to the engagements with the City of Johannesburg metro and the City of Tshwane.
The minutes were adopted without any amendments.
The second set of minutes was those of the meeting of the 17 October 2012. The meeting was a briefing by the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs on Operation Clean Audit by 2014. The minutes were adopted without any amendments.
The meeting was adjourned.
