Shorlisting of candidates to be interviewed for vacancies on the Media Development Diversity Agency Board

Meeting report

The Chairperson said that the Committee had considered all nominations for the filling of the 3 vacancies.

The Committee subsequently shortlisted the following candidates:
Mr Brian Makeketa
Mr Siviwe Minyi
Dr Simangaliso S Malinga
Mr Tahir Zakariya Sema
Mr Tyrone August
Ms Nomonde Gongxeka
Ms Louise Carol Vale
Mr Dinkwanyane Kgalema Mohuba
Ms Phelisa Nkomo
Ms Nadia Bulbulia

The Chairperson said that nominees would be interviewed on 16 November 2010.

The Committee unanimously agreed with the nominations.

Announcements
The Chairperson informed Members about an invitation to a seminar on food security by the Ministry of Economic Development on 18 November 2010. He said all interested Members should RSVP.

The Kenya Parliamentary delegation would be visiting the Committee on the November 23 2010 to observe and engage with the Committee.
