The Standing Committee on Finance invites you to submit written submissions on the following Bills:
 

AUDITING PROFESSION AMENDMENT BILL [B 15—2014]
 

The Auditing Profession Amendment Bill [B 15—2014] aims to:
• amend the Auditing Profession Act, 2005, so as to provide for the regulation of candidate auditors and to update  references to the Companies Act, 2008;
 

BANKS AMENDMENT BILL [B 17-2014]
 

The Banks Amendment Bill [B 17-2014] aims to:
• amend the Banks Act, 1990, so as to expand the basis on which a curator may dispose of all or part of the business  of a bank to enable an effective resolution of a bank under curatorship;
 

FINANCIAL AND FISCAL COMMISSION AMENDMENT BILL

 

The Financial and Fiscal Commission Amendment Bill aims to:
• propose amendments to the Act to enhance the institutional and other governance arrangements and functioning of the Commission and to fully align it with the Constitution and the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999

Public hearings will be conducted at Parliament on Wednesday, 28 January 2015.

Please note submissions and requests to make oral presentation must be received by no later than 12:00 on Monday, 26 January 2015.
