The Director-General in the Presidency, Reverend Frank Chikane, presented the Khampepe Commission of Enquiry Report into the Mandate and Location of the Directorate of Special Operations (DSO). This was released for the first time to the public since its completion in February 2006 (see document).
The media briefing was held at the Union Buildings in Pretoria and was not covered by PMG.
